According to Maricopa County Animal Care and Control spokesperson, David Weissman, about 150 pets are impounded each day due to non-compliance to the Leash Law of Arizona.
“Arizona’s Leash Law prohibits someone from allowing their dog to run at large outside their property at any time,” Weissman explained. “The dog must be confined to the home or to the property, either inside the home or within a walled or fenced yard or area on the property.”
